APSRTC runs regular bus services to Basar from Hyderabad and from other district headquarters like Adilabad, Warangal, Nizamabad and Kammam. In Hyderabad, buses start at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (Iimliban Bus station) and at the Jubilee Bus Station (JBS, Secunderabad). The bus station in Basar is near Basar temple. From there, one can take an auto to reach the RGUKT campus which is about 2.5 kms away. The RGUKT Basar campus is on the road from Basar to Bhainsa and comes on the left side of the road. This is a request stop.

This train starts from Tirupati and travels through, Nellore, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Jangaon, Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Basar and then Adilabad.
From Basar railway station, the campus is another 2 kms on the same road that goes to Bhainsa. You can take an auto from here to the campus.
